Depth Of Field

I used depth of field to enhance this image by focusing on the railing so that it leads you to the water.

I used depth of field in this image by focusing on the front benson bubbler to put emphasis on the water.
I used depth of field in this image to draw you attention to the design on the wall.

These are all shallow depth of field

Daguerreotype (Project 8)

This is a Daguerreotype photograph.  A Daguerreotype photograph is an early way process of iodine-sensitized silvered plate and mercy vapor.  I of course didn't use a camera like this but instead edited it to look like a daguerreotype.  This was taken in the Pearl District in downtown Portland.

Image Techniques

This is a panorama of Lincoln High School.  I took multiple photos then blended them together to create a panorama.

This is two photos blended together, a flower and my friend.  I changed the tone of both photos then blended them.

This is a photo also taken at Lincoln High School and it is an HDR photo.  I took multiple photos of this but just changed the shutter speed to change the exposure.

My Three Best Images Of First Quarter

This is a single flower I found in a pot on the sidewalk and I thought the color was very pretty and I blurred the background so the flower would stand out.

This was a door way to a restaurant I thought looked really pretty and I loved how the light was coming through the tree.

This is a picture of my dog and I liked the way the shadow looked on the grass.
